About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for dedicated volunteers for our youth teams in the field of soccer for as coach or trainer.
If this should be a new task for you or if you can only spend limited time, your commitment is certainly also "in the team" with another experienced coach feasible.
Your Tasks
You would do your job for our club, but within the framework of the "Jugendspielgemeinschaft im Innerstetal". In this community we have brought together the youths of four local clubs to be able to offer all children/youths a sports program.
Of course, we also support you in your training and further education, e.g. through the DFB or the Landessportbund.
Clearly in the Fordergrund stands the execution of the training and the play company.
If you can spare time for the kids, the organization of training camps or leisure events such as a visit to the stadium would be conceivable. The board would support this, not least financially.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Volunteers should enjoy working with children and have fun playing soccer. It is not decisive whether they already have experience as a youth coach. The club is also happy to support the volunteers to further educate themselves in this area, for example, through coaching courses.
Fun and empathy in dealing with children is an important prerequisite, especially for the younger grades.

Depending on whether you work alone or with others as an instructor, this will of course have an effect on the amount of time required. Basically you have to allow time for the training, the games and a certain preparation.
In addition, there may be further training measures, if you wish (we would love that of course).
It would also be great if you could spare time for other activities (e.g. a training camp or a visit to the soccer stadium) but no one is asking you to do that, it would just be the "cherry on top".

The sports club currently has about 220 members and is located in the municipality of Haverlah. In our club are mainly members from the Innerstetal as well as the Salzgitter area, sporadically they even come from the areas of Peine, Gifhorn and Hanover.
Our main activities include the promotion of sports, for this we are currently active in the areas of soccer (children, men, women), Zumba, Strong, steel darts as well as gymnastics.
Thanks to committed members we are very strong in youth work. With us, the performance idea is not in the foreground, but we want to offer a home to as many people as possible with a desire for movement, sports and community.
