About the volunteering opportunity
The residents of the senior center would like raised beds and flower boxes, and the volunteers are to build these so that the residents can garden.
Your Tasks
The tasks include:
- Sawing to size and assembling the material
- Building the raised beds.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
Some manual dexterity would be an advantage.
What to bring
The volunteers need work clothes and gloves. You are welcome to bring a cordless screwdriver and a circular saw and jigsaw if you have them. Snacks, coffee and water are available on site.
