Support the Summer Olympics at the AWO residential and nursing home in Wolfsburg

At this event, various game stations are set up, such as can throwing or duck fishing, where all participating residentscan collect points. The results are recorded on a scorecard. At the end of the games, the points are counted and the best three participantsare rewarded with great prizes.

During the event, we also ensure that the residents are provided with drinks, snacks and soft ice cream.

Some of our helperstake charge of the game stations: They explainthe procedure to the residents, prepare the stations and help with entering the points on the scorecard. Other helpers assist with handing out drinks, snacks and soft ice cream.

Of course, our employees are on hand to provide support throughout the event.

Contact with older people should be made without restraint and with openness.

No special clothing or equipment is required for the event. However, sturdy shoes are recommended as part of the event takes place on grass.

During the event, drinks such as water, coffee and soft drinks will be available for all helpers. After the event, around 12:00-12:30, we invite all volunteers to a barbecue. Of course, there will also be a vegetarian alternative, which will be prepared on a separate barbecue grill

To ensure that everything runs hygienically, we start the event with a brief hand disinfection session. I show you where the disinfectant dispensers are.
