About the volunteering opportunity
A number of maintenance measures are required to contain the uncontrolled growth of trees and shrubs and thus regulate the water level. The green cuttings are also used to create habitats. This creates habitats for insects, amphibians and birds.
Your Tasks
Various maintenance measures are implemented to keep the overgrowth of trees and shrubs in check and to regulate the water level.
This work is carried out under the expert guidance of the Moorbahn staff. The resulting green cuttings are put to good use to create new habitats and valuable habitats for insects, amphibians and birds.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
No special requirements are necessary.
What to bring
Please bring weatherproof clothing and shoes . Sneakers are not suitable. Rubber boots are recommended.
It would also be very helpful if you could bring pruning shears or secateurs for the garden area and work gloves.
Catering will be arranged with the team.
